Independent distribution is not for the faint of heart, and distribution plans are as unique as each film. We’ve been working hard with two excellent advisers to help determine the film’s trajectory. THE LAST PIG will have a public broadcast and will be available on platforms like Amazon and iTunes and on DVD — but not for another 6 to 8 months. For now, we’re focused on theatrical and community screenings, which help bring people together and spark important dialogue about ethics and compassion.
We’re also busy editing three special versions of the film for younger audiences and developing educational materials to be used with these videos in classrooms! Inspiring compassion in the next generation is crucially important, and we’re excited that Tugg EDU will help distribute The Last Pig in the educational realm!
